Greetings from finland !!
I saw your wepsite and i notise that i got allmoust everything to
make
my own engraver.
So i start to build it and after few mounths its allmoust ready. i
use only old parts and
example my computer is old 486 and i found least 5 years old kemo
stepmotor
cards. Mgui
is doing well job with them. Butt...
When i use *phase control* , my engravers Z-axis just dont move ??
X, Y working perfect.
If i use *pulse dir*, kemo parts lost the puls.
My Beauty is a quite massive, its a old drill table ( with x and
y-axis
) weight least 65
kg !
I tried to get fotos for you. its HEAVY. Pure iron.
Could you please help me to end. How i get pulse to z-axis with *phase control* ??
Terveisin

Hello Luberth,
here is a little example of my home-built plotter/engraver. I can
send
you more photos and also my control program for Windows (with accurate
timing!!),
which can draw or engrave HPGL files
Best regards

Hi,
Three months ago, I ventured throughout your website....
I quite agree about Roland and their wretched prices for an engraver.
So, I set out to build my own, with a wealth of inspiration from you.
Constructed, for under $250.00 US, and with the help of a local
school's
machine shop, I designed and built the gantry
type using mostly poarts from a Panasonic Copier Machine and Epson
wide-carriage printers.
Please feel free to post these pictures on your site...perhaps they
will also inspire others to build their own....and hopefully
defeat the capitolists who over-price them.
Thank you so much again...
(BTW - I use the Stepper3 and KCam version 4)
Dave

Dear sir,
I am about to commence my final year in a BEd in technology and
design
with education. For my main personal project i
am going to ATTEMPT to design and manufacture a PCB drilling machine
for small scale simple PCBS. I am wondering if
you would be willing to assist me in the design process? I am
not sure if you are aware of a piece of software call PCB
wizard, however, this the software that i ideally i would like the
deice to operate from. DO YOU THINK THIS IS
POSSIBLE? Can you help?
Thank you
