MGUI (MORELLO Graphic User Interface) is a user interface available in DOS (16 and 32 bit), Windows, Win32 and Unix X-Window environments.
MGUI was initially developed under DOS (Borland BGI), due to the missing in this environment of an advanced and simple to use GUI. The library design was hardly conditioned by the knowledge acquired in the Unix X-Window environment. This has made it very simple to obtain a Unix version of the MGUI library. Next step was to port the software in the DJGPP environment, and it became possible to create 32 bit DOS applications using the GNU gcc compiler and gaining great improvements in the graphics performance. Finally, after a little tuning in the MGUI API, the porting in the Windows environment completed the available base platforms.
